The team behind Life in Mind, a digital gateway that connects organisations and communities with access to suicide prevention programs, services, resources and research, will be on hand throughout the inaugural 2018 Lived Experience Summit in Brisbane this week.

It has been a productive couple of weeks for the suicide prevention sector which has seen the launch of three insightful campaigns aimed at changing behaviour and attitudes towards suicide and mental illness.

With the 2018 National Suicide Prevention Conference (NSPC) now at a close and all attendees back on the ground at their respective organisations, the Life In Mind team would like to share some insights on what they learned from the event.

Life in Mind is excited to announce the launch of the #YouCanTalk campaign, a landmark joint national suicide prevention initiative which was unveiled today at Parliament House, Canberra.

The suicide prevention and mental health sectors are invited to participate in the Life in Mind evaluation survey.

Life in Mind are pleased to share the official launch of Suicide Prevention Australia’s Suicide Prevention Hub: Best Practice Programs and Services. The Suicide Prevention Hub will host best practice suicide prevention programs and services that have been evaluated for quality and safety in Australia against a set of program criteria developed by Suicide Prevention Australia and independently assessed by expert reviewers.

In its eighth year, the IASP Conference will bring together researchers, practitioners, professionals, students, and those within the community impacted by suicide to share knowledge, skills, research and good practices in preventing suicide.
