Life in Mind featured internationally at 2018 IASP Asia Pacific Conference

Posted 2nd May 2018

Everymind suicide prevention staff are preparing to facilitate a range of presentations as part of this year’s International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) Asia Pacific Conference in New Zealand, commencing today.

In its eighth year, the IASP Conference will bring together researchers, practitioners, professionals, students, and those within the community impacted by suicide to share knowledge, skills, research and good practices in preventing suicide.

This year, Everymind will present its work leading best-practice communication in suicide prevention, showcasing the Life in Mind program.

The presentation will highlight the new online gateway to suicide prevention in Australia, and will also provide insight in the development and dissemination of the National Communications Charter, which is planned for later this year.

The presentation will take place Friday 4 May in the Strategy Stream from 4:00 - 6:00pm.
