Australian Institute of Health and Welfare

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) is an independent government agency that collects and collates data on health and welfare issues, including suicide and self harm.

AIHW manages the National Suicide and Self-harm Monitoring System, providing national data on suicide and self-harm from a number of sources, and also coordinates suicide monitoring of serving and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members.
