Queensland Mental Health Commission
The Queensland Mental Health Commission’s role is to drive reform of the mental health and alcohol and other drugs systems in Queensland.
The Commission encourages and facilitates change to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all Queenslanders, and prevents and reduces the impact of mental illness, problematic alcohol and other drug use, and suicide. We recognise that the collective effort of all stakeholders is essential to bring about reform and better outcomes for all Queenslanders. The Commission works across a broad range of areas including health, employment, education, communities, sport and recreation, housing and justice. We also engage those with a lived experience, their families and carers to help shape the reform agenda.
