MATES in Construction
MATES in Construction, Mining and Energy deliver strategic, innovative, evidence based suicide prevention and mental health programs to the building, mining, energy and construction industries. This is done by raising awareness, building capacity, connecting workers to help and providing evidence based information to the industry through research.
MATES, is an independent multi-partisan organisation built on the idea that "improving mental health and preventing suicide is everyone’s business". MATES empower individuals to make a difference for their workmates in their workplace. Existing industry structures are strategically used to engage with workers in their workplaces.
