‘Tis the season to be asking R U OK?

Posted 11th December 2024

R U OK? have launched their holiday campaign, ‘Tis the season to be asking R U OK?, encouraging all Australians to check in with each other during the festive season.

With a report from the Salvation Army finding two thirds (66 per cent) of people described the time of year as stressful, lonely and sad, it’s important that we connect with each other to support mental health and wellbeing this holiday season.1

R U OK? has shared helpful resources to support conversations and meaningfully connect with people, including a Calendar of Connection providing ideas for a range of ways that can help us connect with others.

In addition, R U OK? ambassadors shared these tips on how we can support our mental wellbeing during the holiday season.

To learn more and download the resources, see the R U OK? Holiday campaign share kit.
