This week, Everymind’s Senior Project Officer, Simon Pont will be presenting on behalf of Life in Mind at the annual Mental Health Services (TheMHS) Conference in Adelaide.
Recognised as one of Australasia’s leading and most diverse mental health conferences in the calendar year, TheMHS brings together keynote speakers and delegates with varied lived experience and professional backgrounds.
The theme of the 2018conference is ‘Hear the Whisper, not the roar: reform, reflect and review’ and is expected to attract more than 1,000 delegates.
Simon will be presenting on these topics as part of his presentation at the conference.
TheMHS Conference Presentation:

Time: 11.30am -1.00pm
Topic One: This presentation will focus on the principles of the National Communications Charter, outlining its key components and updated structure, principles and key messages and the establishment of new support and dissemination strategies, such as a Champions Group and training resources.
Topic Two: The presentation will include an interactive tour through the Life in Mind online portal, as an example of e-mental health promotion, providing a link for research, government and service providers to each other and the community.
