R U OK? in Trucks and Sheds drives conversations in transport and logistics

R U OK? and Healthy Heads in Truck & Sheds Foundation have collaborated to launch ‘R U OK? in Trucks & Sheds’, a day of action aimed at driving conversations for ongoing cultural change and shining a light on the need for connecting and asking, “are you OK?”

More than 60 organisations across the country have held workplace events to encourage connection among colleagues and provide free resources on how to drive a conversation if they’re worried a workmate might be struggling.

“Mental health continues to be an important issue for our industry, and I congratulate Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds for urging everyone to check in and ask 'R U OK?' – not just once a year, but every day.”

Sal Petroccitto, CEO, National Heavy Vehicle Regulator

Together, the organisations have developed free resources on how to start a conversation with their workmates. This includes a conversation guide, activity sheets, an event toolbox and more, all available to download on the Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds website.

Visit the R U OK? or Healthy Heads Trucks & Sheds websites for more information.
