LivingWorks launches pilot campaign for communities impacted by COVID-19

Posted 9th September 2020

Suicide intervention training organisation, LivingWorks have recently launched a pilot campaign focused on supporting community members impacted by stage four COVID-19 restrictions.

LivingWorks has joined up with Crisis Heroes, an online community platform and two Primary Health Networks in Melbourne to deliver an online suicide first aid outreach campaign entitled #SkillsSaveLives.

The state of Victoria is currently experiencing an extended and restrictive COVID-19 lockdown and this pilot campaign aims to connect people to help, skills and online support where needed.

By connecting people trained in suicide first aid with community members in Victoria needing help due to lock down restrictions, LivingWorks and Crisis Heroes are hoping to provide communities with a safety net of support.
