Question Persuade Refer (QPR)
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is self-guide online training program that aims to help people detect persons who are in the thinking or ideational phase of a suicide plan, and seek an emergency response on their behalf. QPR training takes around 60 minutes to complete and may also enable helpers to discover people at risk who have already made one or more non-lethal attempts. This training is being offered to communities in four NSW sites – Newcastle, Illawarra Shoalhaven, Central Coast and Murrumbidgee – as part of the Black Dog Institute’s LifeSpan trial.
