I am a lived experience researcher, lecturer, and consumer consultant with a background in peer support in inpatient and outpatient community settings.
I completed a Master of Psychology in 2019 and have begun my PhD which focuses on risk and protective factors in adolescent suicide, self-injuring behaviours, and disordered eating.
My research interests include research from a social justice and intersectional framework; lived experience inclusion in suicide, eating disorder and psychosis research; eating disorders and suicidality; suicidality in LGBTIQ+ populations; autism and suicidality; weight stigma and suicidality; trauma, dissociation, shame, self-schemas, self-compassion, and suicidal behaviour; clinicians with Lived Experience and mental health stigma in the workplace.
