Together 4 Hope Suicide Prevention Initiatives
Together 4 Hope Community walk takes place annually during National Suicide Prevention Week. Diverse communities march together through the main street of Auburn to raise suicide prevention awareness. Throughout the year, members of the community meet once in month to support and guide the goals and implementation of local area suicide prevention strategy.
The program facilitates local communities involvement into suicide prevention dialogue and runs facilitates training for community leaders.
About the 2018 Together 4 Hope Community Walk
Together 4 Hope Suicide Prevention Initiatives present the 5th Annual Community Walk for HOPE.
Date: Thursday 13th September at Auburn Central Forecourt, corner of Queen Street and Harrow Road, Auburn.
Information: Diverse communities march together through the main street of Auburn, carrying candles and messages of HOPE and Solidarity. There will be kids activities; sign making; BBQ sizzle and coffee and hot chocolate served.
Time: Activities and registration begin at 5:00 pm, while the march commence at Sunset 5:45 pm.
