Stronger Smarter Yarns for Life
The Yarns for Life Program was developed following a needs analysis commissioned by the ACT Health. The course was developed by Professor Chris Sarra, leading indigenous educator and 2016 NAIDOC person of the year, and ConNetica directors Marion Wands and Adjunct Professor John Mendoza with input form the University of Sunshine Coast. Initial funding for the development was provided by the Qld Mental Health Commission. The program was trialed in Bundaberg and Canberra, evaluated and then rolled out in communities in Queensland, the NT and ACT.
