Linkmate is a peer-to-peer social app which empowers individuals to safely share their stories of dealing with mental health. Our vision is to revolutionise the way people engage with mental health to help them find their voice again and boost their social confidence. The platform connects people with a Mate – that is, a trained peer who has shared a similar lived experience as them, for empathetic support and promotion of their strengths and passions. With its secure messaging platform, the Linkmate app brings mental health care into everyone's daily life, breaking down barriers to help them address issues, with the support of a peer, before they take a serious toll on their mental health.
