Today, Everymind’s Senior Project Officer, Simon Pont will be presenting at the Care for Life Suicide Prevention Network’s World Suicide Prevention Day event on the Gold Coast.
This presentation will focus on the importance of communities having safe, supportive and engaging conversations about suicide and suicide prevention through the lens of the #YouCanTalk initiative.
The event will bring together attendees from a range of mental health, suicide prevention and community support sectors, which will focus on how all involved can work together to prevent suicide.
Simon will be discussing in greater detail the resources, information and collaborative focus of the #YouCanTalk campaign and key learnings.
