Young people’s mental health and online/social media use during the COVID-19 pandemic
This study is designed to conduct COVID-19 research with young people. Young Australians (16-25) will be surveyed about their: 1) mental health status; 2) access to/acceptability of digital mental health platforms/services; 3) use of social media, including whether or not this has changed as a result of COVID-19; 4) use of social media specifically to talk about self-harm/suicide. Participation in the survey will be anonymous, and it will be promoted via social media (including the #chatsafe channels).
